Students who have the following qualifications may be considered for direct entry onto relevant schemes at Cardiff Metropolitan University.

Foundation Courses

Applicants who have the East Africa Certificate of Education (EACE)/Cambridge Overseas School Certificate (COSC)/Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with average grade C or 6 or above can be considered for the Foundation Year Programme.

Those who have the same qualification however English is a UKVI IELTS 4.5 can be considered for entry to the International Foundation course

Undergraduate Courses

Applicants with an East African Advanced Certificate of Education​/ Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education will be considered on the same basis as UK A-Level applicants​

OR Cambridge Overseas Higher School Certificate (COHSC)

OR those have followed the A-Level / IB Diploma curriculum will be considered for undergraduate entry – the normal UCAS tariff will be applied

Postgraduate Courses

Students with a Bachelor degree from a recognised institution in Uganda with equivalent to 2:2 Second Lower class

OR masters degree will be considered for ​​masters programme entry

Applicants with a Masters degree will be considered for entry to Ph.D. studies ​
