Staff Overview

Antje has nearly 20 years’ experience in UK higher education. She has held roles as Programme Director across all levels from Undergraduate programmes to Doctoral Degrees and has been very actively involved in collaborative international provision for many years. She was also HEA Faculty lead at a previous university for the Fellowship programme and has mentored over 40 staff members successfully through the award scheme. She is currently the Field Group Chair for Marketing.

Her practical experience is in Marketing Research, and she has carried this forward into teaching experience in Research Methods, especially Quantitative Methods. She teaches primarily at postgraduate level and is currently the Programme Director for the MSc Strategic Marketing.

Antje is an active researcher with over 70 research publications. Her interests are focused on consumer behaviour and the application of quantitative methodologies. She currently supervised two research students and has several successfully supervised a number of higher degree projects to completion.

Antje has taught a very wide range of marketing modules across all levels and class sizes at different UK institutions. She has also taught on modules in Malaysia and Hong Kong.

Research

Antje’s research interests are broadly based on consumer behaviour and more recently, student educational behaviour.
