Harry Cameron is currently an Associate Lecturer at Cardiff Metropolitan teaching and supervising  MBA dissertations, Capstone projects and NBP reports on the International MBA and Full- time MBA in Cardiff and Dubai. He also teaches on the BA International Business Administration degree, working with students on the Building a Business module and the People in Organisations module on the MBA programme. After graduating from Bristol Polytechnic in 1981 with a degree in Humanities, specialising in economics, political economy and economic history, he completed a Diploma in TEFL and worked overseas in Greece and Northern Spain. Harry has been working as a lecturer in Further and Higher education for 30 years, starting his career in business studies and leisure management at Hounslow Further Education College (now West Thames College) where he completed teacher placement and his Certificate in Education from Garnett Teacher Training College (now incorporated with Greenwich university) Harry was the section head for the General and Communications studies department at Hounslow and also was the link lecturer with franchise HND Leisure courses with Thames Valley University. He graduated in 1984 with an MSc in Urban Policy Studies from the South Bank University. In 1997 he became a senior lecturer at University College Birmingham and was course co-ordinator for 10 years on courses in MA Tourism Business Management and MA Adventure Tourism Management. Harry has also been a visiting lecturer at Wolverhampton University collaborating with the team there on various research projects for industry, recently completing a customer service report for the Severn Valley Railway and has co- edited the new edition of Operations Management in the Travel industry 2016. He has also contributed to the Tourism: The Key Concepts in Tourism book, ed, Peter Robinson 2012 and the Encyclopaedia of Leisure and Outdoor Recreation, (eds  J. Pigram and J.Jenkins, 2003. Harry has conducted doctoral research into power and politics in coastal tourism destinations, focusing on the role of local authorities in the decline and regeneration of resorts. Harry has worked on many overseas tourism management consultancy projects and Erasmus projects in Greece, Spain, Portugal, Slovenia and Northern Cyprus and has lectured on MA tourism management in Hong Kong, Macau and the Maldives.
