The Wallace Group supports and works with the leading Zambian Sports NGO, Sport in Action. Together, sport is used to engage, educate, and empower young people in Zambia and the UK.

Working in partnership with Durham, Edinburgh, Loughborough, Northumbria, St Andrews and Stirling universities, Cardiff Met has recruited 6 students and 3 staff members to work and live in Zambia between June – September 2024.

The universities that form the Wallace Group share a commitment to the establishment and sustainable practices of international development and work with our primary partner, the NGO Sport in Action, the Zambian government, and other sport stakeholders to support the delivery of Zambia's sports strategy in relation to young people and sustainable community participation.
