Profile

I am the Programme Lead for PGCE Secondary - IT and Computing and the Curriculum Leader of ICT and Computer Science (Cardiff High School) as well as being a Personal Tutor and Mentor for Secondary and PGCE students. Having gained a Degree in Education specialising in Computing, PGCE Mathematics specialism Computing and MSc in Computing, I have taught Mathematics and Computer Science for twenty plus years in a range of secondary schools in Wales and the United Arab Emirates, and had various roles such as Head of Department, Head of Year and Senior Leadership position.  

I joined the Cardiff School of Education and Social Policy in 2019 as a Senior Lecturer in IT and Computing and I am also involved in many Digital projects. I am an A Level Examiner for WJEC and Consultant for Qualification Wales. Previously, I worked as Lead Practitioner for CSC to support schools implementing the DCF.
