Teaching

Stuart lectures at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.  He is module leader for a number of occupational health, safety and wellbeing modules on both the BSc (Hons) Environmental Health and the MSc in Occupational Health, Safety and Wellbeing programmes.

Stuart has an MSc in Occupational Health and Safety, is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Teaching Academy.

Stuart has been a lecturer in Cardiff School of Health Sciences since January 2011 and the Programme Director for the MSc Occupational Health, Safety and Wellbeing programme since September 2013.

Stuart is also the Programme Moderator for the MSc Occupational Health, Safety and Wellbeing programme delivered in conjunction with Dimensions International College in Singapore.

Research

Stuart's research interests focus upon the development, implementation and promotion of sustainable occupational Health & Wellbeing strategies and interventions in the workplace.

Stuart is currently undertaking a part time PhD exploring ways of reducing work related stress amongst Head Teachers in Wales.
