Students who have the following qualifications may be considered for direct entry onto relevant schemes at Cardiff Metropolitan University.

Foundation Courses

The equivalent of 5 GCSEs (Grade C and above) to include Maths and English

Undergraduate Courses

Students with good grades in their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) AND who have completed a recognised Foundation Course

OR Holders of a (University) Diploma from a recognised institution in Kenya

OR Holders of a Higher or Ordinary Technician Diploma

Postgraduate Courses

Students with a Bachelor degree from a recognised institution in Kenya

OR Students with a Bachelor degree from a recognised institution in the UK

OR Students with a Masters degree from a recognised institution in Kenya

High/Secondary School English grade C or above (for example KCSE, IGCSE, O level) will be accepted.* Students will be asked to complete an English Language interview via Skype as part of their offer conditions.

IELTS 4.5 (4.0 in each area) is required for International Foundation course

IELTS score of 6.0 (5.5 in each area) is required for Undergraduate Courses (inc Year 0) and Postgraduate Courses*

*Some courses may require a higher grade in English or IELTS
