Staff Overview

Felix is a dual qualified lawyer (Nigeria (1999) and UK (2010)). He holds the following qualifications, LLB (hons), BL, and LLM in International and Commercial dispute resolution law from the University of Westminster and presently a PhD Law candidate at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, where he is researching in the field of International Arbitration, and he is on the Ciarb pathways towards fellowship.

He practised as a barrister with the reputable international law firm of G.O.Sodipo and Co in Lagos, Nigeria with experience in every aspect of the law especially intellectual property law, oil and gas law, company commercial, and Human Rights Law. Felix was the managing partner of The Law Masters Chambers in Lagos, Nigeria before relocating to the United Kingdom. He requalified as a Solicitor of the senior courts of England and Wales in the year 2010 and is a practising Solicitor. He is accredited as a senior caseworker in Immigration and Asylum.

Teaching

Teaches seminar in English Legal System and Skills, Applied Skills in Advocacy and Law and the World of Business.

Research

His research work is in the area of dispute resolution law - international commercial arbitration, foreign direct investment arbitration, and multinational corporate entities.
