Staff Overview

After graduating from Nottingham Trent University, I worked for a few years in a buying office for a retail company. I then went back into education to complete to complete a BA (hons) in Enterprise at Wolverhampton. Then completed a PGCE in further and higher education and worked in the enterprise department of Wolverhampton University for 7 years as the award leader for the Business Enterprise program which also included running international partner institution summer schools. I have work experience in retail management and volunteering in politics. I am currently running the Enterprise pathway on the undergraduate Business and Management program and also the chair of the enterprise discipline group.

Teaching

I am module leader for the following final year undergraduate modules:

Launching an Enterprise final year project (40 credits)
Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Applied Entrepreneurship and Business Development
Entrepreneurship and Strategy and Culture

Also, level 5 modules of:

Creativity and Innovation Management
Business in Action

In addition, as the Retail Management programme director, I wrote the HND and Degree programs.

Research

I am currently enrolled in a PhD in the area of strategic retail management.
