Staff Overview

Dr Ricky Li joined Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2016. Before he began his academic career in 2008, he worked in various roles in accounting, finance and business insurance underwriting.

He is a Senior Fellow of the HEA and Field Group Chair for Banking and Investment. He has a wealth of experience in accounting, finance and investment subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He is also an experienced supervisor for postgraduate and PhD research students.

Ricky has research interests in multiple disciplines and areas including Accounting and Finance Education, Entrepreneurship, pedagogy research in police training and degree education.
