Cardiff Met Sport has partnered with sports app Fanbase to improve the fan experience across a range of the University’s sports clubs.
Fanbase specialises in delivering more efficient mobile ticketing and allows clubs to connect with supporters in an integrated app.
Fans attending Cardiff Metropolitan University’s Cyncoed Campus can expect to take advantage of a significant shift in the digital experience with a whole host of features including digital ticketing and club-related content in one place.
Gareth Walters, Business Development Manager at Cardiff Met Sport said: “We’re excited to be partnered with Fanbase who have given our sports clubs an improved fan experience. The process of purchasing tickets for matches, seasons and one-off events has seen us able to increase revenue opportunities, whilst offering our Archers fans a better experience before and during matches.
“We ran a trial with our basketball team which was a great success, and we’re happy to see more clubs in Cardiff Met wanting to join Fanbase. It has even been a huge success for one-off events, where an Athletics tournament and a professional tennis tournament on campus held at the end of 2023 adopted the use of Fanbase for their ticket sales.”

Tickets for Cardiff Met Archers Basketball teams, athletic and tennis competitions are all available via the Fanbase app.
