Cardiff Metropolitan University announces partnership with CRX Compression to support athletes

​​​Cardiff Met Sport has partnered with a leading provider of premium compression garments designed to enhance recovery, prevent injury and optimise athletic performance.

The collaboration with CRX Compression is another significant step forward for Cardiff Met in supporting its student-athletes and excelling in sports performance and recovery.

CRX Compression, known for its commitment to innovation and athlete-focused solutions, will work closely with the newly developed physiotherapy team at Cardiff Met. This partnership will provide student-athletes at the University with access to cutting-edge recovery and performance-enhancing tools, further solidifying Cardiff Met’s reputation as a hub for athletic excellence and development.

Richard Williams, Head of Physiotherapy at Cardiff Met said: “This partnership highlights our dedication to supporting the development of our student-athletes, ensuring they have access to the latest advancements in sports science and technology. By partnering with CRX Compression, the University reinforces its dedication to pushing the boundaries of athletic performance and recovery, helping student-athletes to achieve their full potential.”

 

CRX Compression established itself by partnering with professional teams such as Dragons Rugby, Yorkshire County Cricket, Gloucester-Hartpury Women’s Rugby as well as supplying both the Football Association of Wales and the British & Irish Lions. Its specialised compression garments are designed to offer superior levels of compression over extended periods, thanks to the advanced materials used in their construction.
