"I originally began my professional Doctorate journey at another institution and found the structure and level of support made progression difficult. When a career opportunity enabled me to relocate to Cardiff I made a decision to transfer my studies to Cardiff Metropolitan University. This has proved to be an excellent choice, the support I have received has re-ignited my enthusiasm for my research and has helped me gain a clearer understanding of how to design and execute my project. The design of the programme has enabled me to consider how I effectively make change to professional practice within my discipline, this has been facilitated by a clear programme structure which also provides opportunities for reflection and focus on professional issues as part of the assessment process. I feel that this is a well-designed and professionally delivered programme and would wholeheartedly recommend the professional doctorate to anyone who is considering studying at this level. "
