Project KITE has significantly impacted social, health, environmental, and employment skills in the Welsh food and ​drink industry. Through its support of Welsh SMEs, KITE contributed over £100 million in increased sales, 700 jobs, and significant growth in: Food safety quality management and certification; product development, innovation and diversification; and, supply chain efficiency. KITE also led to an additional £11 million being awarded to Project HELIX, which has achieved economic impact of over £110 million.
