The Value Flow Centre (VFC) used £100k of competitive research grant funding to develop and apply Contemporary Operations Management Paradigms (COMPS) in aerospace, architectural, automotive, food and medical manufacturing businesses. This resulted in company savings of £32 million through enhanced business performance, a return on investment of 32,000%. This was achieved by assisting Make UK (Wales) to improve the business performance strategies of 319 companies, helping them to develop more efficient and collaborative supply chain networks.
