Results from the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021 showed Cardiff Met produced world-leading research across its entire submission, with nearly two thirds of research outputs found to be Internationally Excellent or World Leading.

 

Cardiff Met made its largest and most inclusive submission ever, with four times as many staff submitted compared to the 2014 exercise

 

Submissions were made to five Units of Assessment with all containing World Leading research and including researchers from across all the University's Schools and Independent Research Centres
