Overview

Imtiaz Hussain Khan is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Technologies at Cardiff Metropolitan University with over 20 years of teaching and research experience. He earned his PhD degree from the Department of Computing, University of Aberdeen (2010) and Master’s degree from the Computer Science Department, University of Essex (2005). Before joining Cardiff Met (2022), he was a Professor in the Cardiff School of Technologies at King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Saudi Arabia (2010-21). He was also Program Coordinator for Accreditation at KAU. He also served as a Lecturer in King Khalid University Saudi Arabia (2009-10) and University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan (2000-05). His research interests include Natural Language Processing, Cognitive Models and Machine Learning. He has several publications in reputed journals and conferences in these areas.
