The Progression Award rewards academic achievement in foundation and 1st year studies
The award comprises a cheque of £1000
Undergraduate students who have completed their foundation or 1st year at Cardiff Metropolitan University in July 2020 and are domiciled in a higher education low participation neighbourhood (LPN).
You can check if you live in an LPN by using Cardiff Met's Criteria Checker which asks you to enter both your age and postcode.
Limited numbers of this award are available and priority will be given to those with the highest final average percentage modular mark gained following the May/June end-of year examinations. In the event that two or more students being considered for the award have identical marks, priority will be determined by an analysis of applicants household income (lowest), date of reply to Cardiff Metropolitan University and date of application to Cardiff Metropolitan University

Offers of award will be issued at the earliest possible opportunity and by 31st October 2020 at the latest. Award correspondence will be sent to the applicant email address registered with Cardiff Metropolitan University.
