In order to self enrol your status with Cardiff Met must be Unconditional Firm (UF) and you will be sent a notification email to confirm you are able to proceed. Following enrolment, research students are made Academic Associates and have the status of academic staff, receiving a staff ID card and access to staff facilities/resources.
Induction and Joining Information
All new postgraduate researchers enrolling in 2021/2022 are expected to attend an informal 'Meet & Greet' session followed by a more formal Induction. The 'Meet & Greet' will provide you with an opportunity to engage with key members of staff who will be involved with your research degree. Induction will introduce you to key topics which are relevant to the initial stages of your postgraduate researcher study.
Please note: These events are usually held on campus but due to current Covid 19 conditions, for the events in September and October, it is proposed that 'Meet & Greet' and Induction, will be delivered via Microsoft Teams.
