Enrolment Information

Please click here for enrolment details and a step-by-step guide on how to self enrol. In order to self enrol your status with Cardiff Met must be Unconditional Firm (UF) and you will be sent a notification email to confirm you are able to proceed. Following enrolment, research students are made Academic Associates and have the status of academic staff, receiving a staff ID card and access to staff facilities/resources.


Induction and Joining Information

All new postgraduate researchers enrolling in 2024/2025 are expected to attend an informal 'Meet & Greet' session followed by a more formal Induction. The 'Meet & Greet' will provide you with an opportunity to engage with key members of staff who will be involved with your research degree. Induction will introduce you to key topics which are relevant to the initial stages of your postgraduate researcher study. ​

Start dates 2024/25 (all PGR, unless stated):

  • 30th April 2024: Enrolment and Meet & Greet, followed by Induction on the week commencing 13th May 2024.

  • 30th September 2024: Enrolment and Meet & Greet, followed by Induction on the week commencing 14th October 2024.

  • 31st January 2025Enrolment and Meet & Greet, followed by Induction on the week commencing 17th February 2025.

  • 30th April 2025: Enrolment and Meet & Greet​, followed by Induction on the week commencing 19th May 2025.​​

​Please notify your Director of Studies once you have enrolled and you will be provided with further joining information.
