In order to self enrol your status with Cardiff Met must be Unconditional Firm (UF) and you will be sent a notification email to confirm you are able to proceed. Following enrolment, research students are made Academic Associates and have the status of academic staff, receiving a staff ID card and access to staff facilities/resources.
Induction and Joining Information
All new postgraduate researchers enrolling in 2023/2024 are expected to attend an informal 'Meet & Greet' session followed by a more formal Induction. The 'Meet & Greet' will provide you with an opportunity to engage with key members of staff who will be involved with your research degree. Induction will introduce you to key topics which are relevant to the initial stages of your postgraduate researcher study.
START DATES (all PGR, unless stated)
September intake
Enrolment 29th September 2023; followed by Meet & Greet 11th October 2023; and Induction on the week commencing 23rd October 2023.
January intake
Enrolment 31st January 2024; followed by Meet & Greet 14th February 2024; and Induction on the week commencing 26th February 2024.
April intake
Enrolment 30th April 2024; followed by Meet & Greet 15th May 2024; and Induction on the week commencing 27th May 2024.
