Psychology facilities include; individual teaching rooms for behavioural experiments and a range of specialist equipment including a Tobii eye tracker, Biosemi EEG, and Noldus face reader. “My favourite thing about the course is that it gives you the opportunity to specialise in certain areas of psychology and you are able to select your final year modules according to your personal interests; this was incredibly beneficial for my health psychology aspirations. As of now, I am working as a graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant, which additionally came with an offer to complete a PhD relating to behaviour change.”

“I fell in love with the diversity of the EPSEN degree and being able to study a combination of 3 separate topics to give you a deeper knowledge of them. Examining educational issues and additional learning needs from psychological perspectives was really interesting!”

“Since qualifying I have worked in a forensic mental health hospital which provides assessment and treatment for people who have mental health problems and who can potentially cause harm to themselves or others. My undergraduate psychology degree at Cardiff Met set the foundations for me to be able to progress along this career path and undoubtedly helped me to gain employment.”
