Guaranteed accommodation for Clearing applicants

We understand that as a Clearing applicant, securing your place in halls will be a big consideration. 

The good news is if you've been made an offer on a course through Clearing, we're pleased to offer you guaranteed accommodation.

To qualify, you will need to refer to your UCAS Clearing application by adding Cardiff Met as a Clearing choice on your UCAS Hub, and apply for accommodation by midnight on Tuesday 19th August 2025. If you have not yet made a UCAS application, please apply at ucas.com.

We have en-suite study bedrooms available in partner halls of residences across Cardiff including:

• The Bakery – ideal for those who want to be near the city centre for socialising or part-time work.
• Clodien House – great for Cyncoed campus and near the student area of Cathays with bars and restaurants.
• North Court – a short walk to Llandaff campus and great bus connections to explore the city
• Arofan House – well located for the city centre and the vibrant area of City Road. Easy access to Cyncoed campus via bus or cycle.
• Blackweir Lodge - exclusively for Cardiff Met students and located in the student-friendly Cathays area.
• Cambrian Point – walk to Llandaff campus or catch the bus to either campus. Amenities and green spaces close by.
• Tŷ Pont Haearn – located in the city centre surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants. Buses run to both campuses.

Applications received on or after Wednesday 20th August will be processed subject to availability. While we aim to house all eligible students, room types, preferences and campus location cannot be guaranteed. Where necessary, we may refer applicants to trusted private housing partners.
