Your Library information and induction

Library Induction

Your student ID card is also your library card and your door key. You can borrow 30 physical books (at a time) and unlimited electronic resources (e-books, journals and databases).

The Library induction explores how to access the resources and support that are designed to support you in your learning throughout your time at Cardiff Met.

It is an online induction, so you can complete it any time and it should only take about 10 minutes to watch the video on the Library Essentials page.

The Library Services web pages have information on opening hours, access to 24-hour study spaces, study rooms, and much more. You can email the Library, use our live webchat service or come and talk to our friendly Library team in person during Welcome Week.
