Throughout your time at Cardiff Met, Student Services are here for you.
We offer a range of high quality and specialist support, available on campus and online through 1:1 appointments, workshops, drop-ins, webinars, and online resources. Our aim is to help you overcome any barriers you may face while studying with us and help you to achieve your full potential.

If you have a query, or want to find out more about Student Services and access non-academic support, your first port of call should be the i-zone. You can find the i-zone next to main reception on Llandaff Campus and in the Library on Cyncoed Campus. You can also find out more about the available support online via our MetHub pages or you can email studentservices@cardiffmet.ac.uk.
Disability Mental health and Wellbeing support
Prospective Students
We encourage students to begin planning support early into your transition to University. We can help you navigate Disabled Student Allowance (DSA) requirements in addition to University support process.
To arrange a support meeting please complete our Prospective Student Triage form a member of our friendly wellbeing team will help guide you from there!
New and Enrolled Students
For advice and support with disability wellbeing or mental health, please complete our Wellbeing Triage form and we will arrange a meeting with a member of our team.

Finance advice for Prospective and New Students
We understand that prospective students and parents/guardians will often have questions about what funding is available to students, and how/when to apply.
Our Money Advice team can answer enquiries and provide support with planning a student budget. Support is available for:
- Applying for Student Finance
- NHS Bursary and Social Work funding
- Budgeting my Student Finance entitlement
- Care leavers and estranged students

Your Career Plans Questionnaire
We want to understand how to help you work towards your career goals while you study with us. The Your Career Plans questionnaire will help us do that, and you will receive some tips for getting started based on your answers.
