This Human Nutrition and Dietetics degree, approved by the HCPC and BDA, combines on-campus study with clinical placements across Wales to prepare graduates for HCPC registration as dietitians. NHS funding available.

Our Facilities

Food Science & Nutrition Facilities

You will benefit from close collaboration with staff at ZERO2FIVE Food Industry Centre, where you’ll use state-of-the-art facilities including pilot-scale food processing equipment, test and development kitchens, and a sensory evaluation suite. You’ll also gain valuable industry insight through ZERO2FIVE’s strong links with the food and drink sector, offering opportunities for real-world product development projects, case studies, placements, and graduate roles.

Our Facilities

Human Nutrition & Dietetics Facilities

You will benefit from our Allied Clinical Health Hub – a purpose-built teaching facility that supports interprofessional learning across multiple health disciplines. It provides advanced simulation suites, consultation and treatment rooms, and outpatient-style spaces that replicate real clinical environments. You’ll use the Hub for realistic patient simulations, case work, and supervised clinical practice while working with peers to deliver healthcare experiences to the local community.

Cardiff Met currently provides Healthcare programmes that have been commissioned by Health Education Improvement Wales (HEIW). Funding is available for students studying Human Nutrition & Dietetics.
