Cardiff Metropolitan University's Widening Access team aims to ensure that people of any background or ethnic group over the age of 18 are given a fair and equal opportunity to study here in a supported manner. We are committed to ensuring that everyone who has the determination, skills and desire to access Higher Education should be able to do so.
If you are a mature student, adult learner or interested in learning in your community and want to try a short course for progression into the university, then we can help. We work with communities offering opportunities to non-traditional learners which are accessible and flexible. The courses on offer are part-time, bite sized learning programmes designed to widen participation to higher education.
