Position: Psychology Research Assistant
School: Cardiff School of Health Sciences
Phillip completed the BSc programme in Psychology between 2010-2013, and continued onto the MSc Health Psychology programme which he completed in 2016.
His research interests are broad and as such he enjoys the flexibility of working on numerous projects relating to a range of topics and methodologies with the academic staff in the Department of Applied Psychology. These have included exploring the learner journey of foundation year students, the effect of cycling in enhancing wellbeing in those with physical and mental impairments and the way in which podiatrists negotiate changing health behaviour with their patients.
Phillip maintains a particular interest in mindfulness and health and environmental issues surrounding transitioning to a plant-based diet, the latter of which was the subject of his MSc final year project.
