I write poetry and fiction and I am interested in applications of writing practice in health and community contexts. I am also interested in creative writing as a research method.

I lead the Art and Creativity for Mental Health and Wellbeing Network and the Creative Writing Community health and Wellbeing Research Group.

Profile

I write poetry and fiction and I teach across the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at Cardiff Met. I have a BA in English from Aberystwyth University, an MA in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia and a PhD in Creative and Critical Writing from Cardiff University.
