Dyddgu is a Senior Lecturer in the Cardiff School of Education and Social Policy. She joined the School in 2014. Her previous career includes teaching in Further Education for three years as a Design Technology and Engineering lecturer at Coleg Meirion Dwyfor, and a year of teaching Design Technology at Ysgol Rhydywaun secondary school.
She leads the Welsh Medium provision on the BA Primary Educational Studies bilingual degree and contributes to BA Primary Educational Studies (with QTS) and Early Childhood Studies.
Extra academic responsibilities include moderator and examiner for the Welsh Joint Education Committee (WJEC) and works closely with the A Level Design and Technology subject. She's an external examiner for Cardiff Metropolitan University International partners, and other Universities within the UK.
Dydddgu is also a retired Welsh international rugby player, played in '6 Nations' campaigns, two Rugby World Cups, Rugby Europe tournaments, Welsh Rugby 7s team, represented Barbarians team, and 31 caps for her country.
