This is a virtual event where you can find out what options are available to you to study, work, volunteer abroad or undertake a virtual mobility whilst studying at Cardiff Met. You can also listen to webinars from Global Opportunities and external partners who are based around the globe!

Cardiff Met Global Opportunities has an excellent relationship with Stage Malta, and we have sent many students out over the last few years to carry out a summer placement or graduate placement with this excellent placement provider in the beautiful country of Malta. Virtual International Internships
Students need to think about and prepare for the global graduate labour market of the future. Remote working skills, the ability to build professional relationships with others from different cultures online, and having the ability to deliver projects outside of the office will be core skills required by employers of tomorrow. As remote work becomes embedded into the culture of work on a global scale, it is essential that young people future-proof their careers and gain global remote working skills. Join the Global Opportunities team to find out about how you can study abroad either at one of Cardiff Met's European Erasmus partner universities or one of our international partners. Find out where you can go, for how long, details on funding and the application process.
Erasmus work placements
The Erasmus+ scheme provides funding for you to do a work placement anywhere in Europe, either during the holidays or as a recent graduate. Join this session to learn about this great opportunity to gain work experience abroad.
GO Global Bursary
We have funding available for you to apply for our GO Global Bursary. There is funding available, up to £500 towards your own unique opportunity. In this session we will explain what kinds of experience this bursary can cover, as well as go through the application process. We will also give you a sneak peek of some of the virtual placements that the GO Global Bursary can fund.
Global Wales Discover
Wales Discover is a brilliant opportunity for Welsh-domiciled students to see
the world! GWD provides funding for you to go to a large number of countries
all over the world to do a placement. Not only that, the Global Opportunities
team have some big trips on the cards for 2021…including Vietnam, Argentina,
and Canada. If you’re a Welsh-domiciled student, this session is a must!
Santander kindly help to fund a large student trip to one of our partner universities. If you fancy joining us in a funded trip to Lyon, France, in 2021, join this session to find out about what's on the agenda for this trip and how you can apply.
