News | 27 June 2024

Cardiff Met welcomed over 400 members of the public to the School of Art and Design’s annual community day on Sunday 9 June.

Part of the School’s Summer Show, which highlights student work from across the School, the Community Day allowed the public to have a go at some of the skills taught within the School and also take part in the range of activities; including painting, design and laser cutting in the digital technology workshop, FabLab, learning hand embroidery and digital stitch techniques with the school's textile experts, and throwing a pot on the potter’s wheel.
