Welcome to University: Your Cardiff Met journey begins
Congratulations once again on gaining your place at Cardiff Met – we can’t wait to meet you in September.
Here you will discover everything you need to know to get started.
The first thing you need to do is enrol and you can find all the information you need on our enrolment pages.
Enrolling will enable you to order your MetCard and give you access to our student intranet, MetCentral, and our MyCardiffMet app, as well as a range of other support and resources.
Our new student FAQs will give you crucial information on everything from accessing your free gym memberships and free software. You’ll also find top tips for getting around Cardiff, term dates and lots of info about discounts, student support and everything our Students’ Union has planned for you.
Welcome Week starts on 22 September. You will need to be available throughout this week as there will be activities and course sessions taking place. Look out for your welcome emails for details, as that’s how we will let you know when your Welcome Week timetable is available for you to view. This is usually in early September. You can also expect your Programme Director to be in touch around this time.
If you are an international student, you can find all the information you need on our international welcome pages – from enrolment through to key dates and arrival tips.
Please click on the PGCE or Research student pages for additional information that is specific to you if this applies to you.
We are very excited to see you on campus soon!
