Who are we?
On International Women's Day 2018, Cardiff Metropolitan University launched its Women's Staff Network. The Network is run by women for women, but all staff are welcome.
The Network will meet formally at least once per term, to discuss Network progress and business. The Network will also try to alternate between focussed meetings and open social gathers where members can catch up over a cup of tea or coffee.
Our Objectives
- Promote the activities, stories, issues and successes of women within the University and the local community
- Provide a platform for women's voices
- Create a forum for women to discuss and share experiences of working within Higher Education
- Co-ordinate developmental activities that may be of interest to members, such as coaching, networking and special events.
