My semester exchange was in Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario at the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics. The course options are wide ranging and provide choices which are different to the choices given at Cardiff Met. However even though they are not specific sports modules they allowed me to added to my knowledge and understanding and gave me a chance to study something different. The programmes were interesting but also challenging with more emphasis on in-class learning and exams.

Everyone was really welcoming, especially the Global Exchange team at WLU who were helpful with every query and there whenever you needed them. Through this exchange I have been able to meet so many new people and travel around to places such as Niagara Falls, Toronto and the Blue Mountains, and saw a lot of snow! There were also lot of sporting opportunities on offer, and the chance to watch interuniversity matches in Ice Hockey and Basketball. 

The exchange has been a really amazing experience at university even during the pandemic but I would really recommend it to anyone!
