Students who have the following qualifications may be considered for direct entry onto relevant schemes at Cardiff Metropolitan University:
Foundation (International Foundation or Foundation leading to)
Qualification & Grade: HKDSE grade in core or elective subjects with equivalent to UCAS tariff 32-48
English Language Requirements: HKDSE Level 4 overall with a minimum of 3 in each band English or IELTS 6.0 with each component above 5.5
Undergraduate Courses
Qualification & Grade:
- UK Foundation Degree OR
- HKDSE grade in core or elective subjects with equivalent to 96 to 112 UCAS tariff depending on the programme. Please contact your Regional Manager for details.
English Language Requirements: HKDSE English in level 4; AS Level HKEAA in grade E; HKCEE in grade C or Level 4; or IELTS 6.0 with each component above 5.5
Advanced Entry
Qualification: Applications with Associate Degrees; Higher Diplomas; HNDs or Advanced Diplomas can usually be considered for advanced try to final year of a relevant degree programme; or for entry to a Top-up degree.
Grade: A minimum GPA of 2.5 out of 4
English Language Requirements: IELTS 6.0 with each component above 5.5
Postgraduate Courses
Qualification & Grade: At least 2:2 degree from a recognised institution in Hong Kong
