Overview

Alun is Senior Lecturer and Associate Dean for Internationalisation in the Cardiff School of Sport and brings to the role his considerable understanding of sp orts increasing global significance in Higher Education. He leads on ensuring the core learning and teaching, research and enterprise activities of the School are able to respond to a diverse and distinctive global education marketplace for sport.

His research supports the longstanding and widely recognised contribution made by the School of Sport to the area of the philosophy and ethics of sport. He has a research profile in this area that encompasses a range of contemporary ethical issues. He is the current Chair of the British Philosophy of Sport Association.
