Your Student MetCard
Once your place is confirmed and you have completed your enrolment online, you will be able to upload a photo for your student MetCard.
You can click on this enrolment tracker to see your status, with the first ‘traffic light’ turning green when you are ready to enrol.
- At the login screen use your Student ID email to login, e.g., st21234567@outlook.cardiffmet.ac.uk.
- You are only ready to enrol when the Step 1 traffic light is green.
- Please make sure all steps are then completed prior to going to collect your MetCard (all traffic lights must be green).
- If any of the traffic lights are red then click on the ‘i’ icon for relevant information about what is required to complete that step.
Your card will give you access to campus facilities, Halls accommodation (if you are a residential student), Library and IT services, and self-service printing and copying. You’ll also need your MetCard if you join a University gym (which is free for all students).
Uploading your photo will ensure that your MetCard is ready to be printed when you arrive on campus – either at our Get Cardiff Met Ready event on September 5 (more information will follow by e-mail) or in Welcome Week.
If you can’t make Get Cardiff Met Ready but live local to our Cyncoed or Llandaff campuses and have enrolled and uploaded your photo, you can collect your MetCard from the campus libraries from Monday, September 8 during library opening hours. But if you’d prefer to wait for Welcome Week, that’s fine!
