You will study three core modules (60 credits):

  • Leadership, Change and Innovation (20 Credits)
  • Performance Improvement and Foundations of the Strategic Growth Project (20 Credits)
  • Strategic Growth Project (20 Credits)

Additional support is available through one-to-one executive coaching, tutorials, peer discussion groups and access to Cardiff Metropolitan University’s library, online databases and learning resources.

Feedback is an integral part of the learning experience. Students receive formative guidance throughout the programme and can discuss their progress with tutors and coaches. Following submission, assessments timely marked with detailed feedback highlighting strengths, areas for improvement and progress against the learning outcomes. All assessments are subject to internal and external quality assurance processes, ensuring academic rigour and consistency of standards.

The programme is designed to support professionals who are already operating in leadership roles, as well as those aspiring to progress into senior strategic positions. By combining postgraduate study with workplace-based application, you will develop the confidence, strategic insight and leadership capability needed to lead organisational growth, transformation and innovation.

Graduates are well positioned for progression into senior management, executive leadership and director-level roles across a wide range of sectors. The programme is particularly valuable for professionals seeking to move from operational leadership into broader strategic responsibilities.
