Profile
I joined Cardiff Met in 1997 as a part-time Secretary
in the Department of Learning and Teaching.
In 2003 I took up the post of
UWIC Press Administrator working alongside the Managing Editor to
support the production and distribution of new publications. Today my role
consists of the day to day management of
running Cardiff Metropolitan University
Press and its publications. The University Press has published a wide range of materials,
the majority of which were commissioned by the Welsh Government, so that materials are available to children in
schools to assist in the study of chosen subjects. These publications range from infant years to
A Level. I liaise with schools, Welsh
Books Council and Welsh Joint Education Committee (WJEC) ensuring these
publicaitons are available. Cardiff
Metropolitan University Press has also published material from Academic Staff
within the university, and is always willing to consider new ideas/projects
from staff within the University.
