Thank you to all those who participated in and attended the Learning and Teaching Conference 2017.
The event took place on Llandaff campus on the Friday 7th July 2017 and was titled 'Learning together: Developing understanding'. The conference addressed the following themes: student engagement; retention and success; student employability; health and wellbeing. We were proud to introduce influential keynote speaker Liz Thomas who discussed the subject of 'Building student belonging at a time of change' as well as hosting a workshop addressing student retention.
We were once again pleased to present a full programme of events that examined current issues within the field of Learning and Teaching in HE, highlighted Cardiff Met's finest examples of contemporary practice and provided participants with a gammut of tips, tricks and ideas which could be translated into your own professional practice be that in a classroom, lecture theatre or perhaps an entirely different learning environment altogether!
