Learning and Teaching Conference 2018 - 'What Works at Cardiff Met'

The Learning and Teaching Development Unit (LTDU) is pleased to announce that Cardiff Metropolitan University's annual Learning and Teaching Conference will take place on the 12th April 2018 and that the call for contributions to this event is now open.  The Spring 2018 Conference will examine what works in relation to practices, resources, interventions and strategies that have been proven to effectively support and empower learners through the significant transition points in their higher education journey.

Mae'n bleser gan Uned Datblygiad Dysgu ac Addysgu (UDDA/LTDU) gyhoeddi bydd Cynhadledd Flynyddol Dysgu ac Addysgu Prifysgol Metropolitan Caerdydd yn cael ei chynnal  Ebrill 12fed 2018 a bod yr alwad am gyfraniadau i'r achlysur bellach ar agor.  Bydd Cynhadledd Wanwyn 2018 yn ystyried yr hyn sy'n gweithio mewn perthynas ag ymarfer, adnoddau, ymyriadau a strategaethau sydd wedi'u profi i fod yn gymorth effeithiol ac sy'n rhoi grym i ddysgwyr drwy gyfnodau pontio arwyddocaol ar eu taith drwy addysg uwch.

Learning and Teaching Conference 2017 - 'Learning together: Developing understanding' 

The event took place on Llandaff campus on the Friday 7th July 2017 and was titled 'Learning together: Developing understanding'. The conference addressed the following themes: student engagement; retention and success; student employability; health and wellbeing. We were proud to introduce influential keynote speaker Liz Thomas who discussed the subject of 'Building student belonging at a time of change' as well as hosting a workshop addressing student retention.
