History

The CPA was established in 1992, with an initial vision to provide support services for the flourishing of elite Welsh sport. The diversity of clients serviced by the CPA attests to the success of extending services to the United Kingdom as a whole and internationally. Within a short time the CPA were delivering analysis services to a host of governing bodies including - association football, rugby union, women's hockey and women's lacrosse.

This successful development of performance analysis, driven by the CPA, led to progression of staff into permanent posts working directly for the NGBs. Now in modern sport, performance analysis is cascading down from International level into National and local league and age group teams across the country. Recognising the current shift from in-house analysis to the out-sourcing of requirements, the CPA is once again providing the facility and workforce to work closely with clients to service their expanding demands.
