Business Services

The margins between success and failure in elite team sport [and business] are small and getting smaller. Coaches and managers require discretionary effort innovative insights and adaptive learning from their people to perform effectively in today's complex and competitive environments. We are able to facilitate a 1 day intensive workshop for up to 18 organisational managers to explore the underlying issues and principles for success drawing on insights from elite sport.

Content

Sessions explore three key themes – how to create the conditions for high performance, how to develop team cohesion and effectiveness and how to manage and motivate individual talent. Sessions also briefly consider two team scenarios – how to guard against complacency and maintain the momentum of a successful team and how to restore confidence and turnaround a team in difficulty.

Structure

While providing a focused and accelerated learning environment we also try to create a sense of informality and space for people to explore their thinking and connect with others.

The workshop will be interactive and practical with a number of opportunities for conversation and networking over tea, coffee and lunch.

Delivery

The workshop will be delivered through a series of facilitated sessions and break out groups drawing on applied theory, contemporary concepts and real life case studies.

Our style of delivery also places great emphasis on exploring participants' own insights and experiences, observing patterns, testing current thinking and establishing principles for action.
