Cardiff Met believes travel should be healthy, affordable, inclusive, and low carbon. As a civic university embedded within the capital city of Wales, we recognise our responsibility to reduce transport emissions, ease congestion, improve air quality, and create a culture where sustainable travel is the easy choice.

Electric Vehicle Charging

Cardiff Met has installed electric vehicle charging points across all teaching, accommodation, and admin sites. This includes a dual 50kW DC rapid charger at Llandaff and Cyncoed campuses, enabling EV drivers to significantly boost their vehicle charge while working or studying. Visitors to campus may use the chargers and should register their vehicle at reception during peak hours.
