Clearing Advice Line Opening Times
July 5 – 14 August 2024:
Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 5pm. Fridays until 4:30pm.
Thursday 15 August 2024 (A Level Results Day):
Our team of advice line staff and academics are available at the following times, to chat through the options available to you: 8:00am – 6:30pm.
What to expect when you call on Thursday 15 August.
When calling you will be presented with a number of options:
Option 1.
Clearing – Select this option to make a new Clearing application to Cardiff Met.
You will be presented with a list of options in relation to the course you wish to study and be transferred to the most relevant course team:
Select the most appropriate option from:
1. Sport
2. Biomedical Science, Psychology & Healthcare Professions
3. Criminology, Policing & Social & Youth Work
4. Business, Law & Criminology, Accounting, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality & Events
5. Computer Science, Games Design & Engineering
6. Art, Design & Architecture
7. Primary & Early Years Education, English, Creative Writing & Media
8. Any other queries
Option 2.
Confirmation* – Select this option if you have already applied, have received your results and want to confirm your place. You can also use this option if you have a general enquiry.
*Please note, that due to the high number of calls the University will receive on 15th & 16th August, you may prefer to check the status of your application through UCAS at
www.ucas.com. As soon as a decision has been made on your application to us, you will be notified via UCAS.

Out of Hours
